General Information EKS-D ParaPara, formed in October of 2006 by Ryan DeNamur (Neko²) and Sarah Shields (Ali), is a group dedicated to practicing and spreading knowledge of parapara dance in North Texas. The team has open membership; anyone in the area who enjoys parapara is welcome to join. Members are encouraged to participate in team activities, including gatherings, parties, video filming sessions, lessons and performances. EKS-D ParaPara will happily volunteer to hold parapara events at conventions and cultural festivals; please contact Team EKS-D for more information.
Our mission is to promote the parapara style of dance by bringing original content to the paralist community as well as recirculating preexisting routines from around the world. We look to create an active paralist network in the North Texas region, particularly in Dallas/Ft. Worth and its surrounding suburbs. We are an inclusive organization open to any North Texas parapara enthusiast regardless of skill; and above all else, we uphold the values of self-improvement, fun, and fellowship. |
